Those clients of mine who have been with me over the years know it does not come easy for me to say,

But there you have it. They are shafting my Grandparents in Oregon.

If I could get to Oregon, I could fix it... but considering it has only run for one week!! Brand New!!

PLUS DELL HAS WORKED ON IT SEVERAL TIMES (remotely)!!

They stalled until the return period was up then dropped them like a hot rock!!

Computer Repair, Troubleshooting, Consulting and Networking:

Ahhh yes... the old reliable. While repairs are probably my least favorite of services, they are what I am most known for. It is what keeps me busy more than anything.

Viruses and Spy/Adware dragging your system down? Computer wont start? Know you have a problem but dont want to lose all your data and pictures to the "Rescue Disk" or "System Restore" option?       I can probably help.

I have honestly surprised myself at times. I offer the below example...

A friend came to me asking if I could help her sister with her computer. It would power on, but windows would not load. "Sure!" I said, "Just have her bring me the system and I'll see what I can do."     Come to find out, her sister lives in Charlotte, NC., a good two hours from here.... *groan!*

Two things about me that ALWAYS get me in trouble... I love a challenge AND once I agree to something, I stick to it. So... I took the phone number and put on my thinking cap...

A LONG STORY made short... I was able to walk her through many steps that got her to where she could access the internet only by command line (text only). Once there, I remotely accessed my home computer, downloaded some files and created an FTP folder she could access by command line to get the files. These files got windows running right after removing over 100 virus files! Countless ad/spyware files. Then we could get various updates and BAM! She was off and running! And it only took 4 days (multiple hours each call) of work on the phone!

I cant promise this level of success each time, especially by phone! But I hate to give up and I will try most anything before I lose your data. I believe in FIXING computers, not just erasing everything in order to make sure I get just a few bad files.    If you think I can help, give me a jingle.

NOTE: I have a full time day job, I take classes, I have a family with multiple kids, I only have one car and I have a LONG list of customers (I only list businesses on my home page, I do not list individuals).... In other words, if you need it fixed FAST, Im not the guy for you. Im cheaper than anyone I know, but the trade off is in your patience.

Geographic Information/ Global Positioning Systems

As the "GIS Guy" for Polk County, I am often asked to do special projects for non-county business, individuals and organizations.

After a few years of having to tell people "Sorry, I cant help you.", I decided to mingle out on my own after hours.

Plus, if you go through the County Tax office, the aerial photos you buy there are from 1975 (?), we have 2003 Black and Whites, 2008 Color, and others as well.
